If you<\/strong><strong>\u2019ve been searching for a perfectly executed grilled cheese, or a succulent handmade burger, you<\/strong><strong>\u2019ll find everything you<\/strong><strong>\u2019re looking for and more at <a href=\"http:\/\/burgerrevolution.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Burger Revolution<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/tradecraftfood.co\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Trade Craft Good Food Co<\/a>. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Burger Revolution began its uprising in 2012. In the shadows of a Burger King no less, Jeff and Rayling Camacho launched their tongue-in-cheek response to the fast-food trend: a slow-food outpost focusing on quality, local ingredients, and of course, appropriately rebellious naming conventions.<\/p>\n<p>With menu items like the \u201cChevre Guevara\u201d and the \u201cMalcolm X-treme,\u201d Burger Rev has cemented itself in the hearts of foodies and revolutionaries alike.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5252\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5252\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cheeselover.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/burger-revolution-photo-via-qnet-news-1.jpg\" data-lightbox=\"gal[5256]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-5252\" src=\"https:\/\/cheeselover.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/burger-revolution-photo-via-qnet-news-1.jpg?w=150\" alt=\"Burger Revolution at 300 North Front Street, Belleville.\" width=\"150\" height=\"100\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-5252\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Burger Revolution at 300 North Front Street, Belleville.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cWe wanted to give people a reason to keep coming back regularly,\u201d says Jeff, \u201cWe didn\u2019t want it to be a special occasion, fine dining establishment, but instead, somewhere that we\u2019d see people more often.\u201d Each month, a limited-edition burger is added to the restaurant\u2019s roster, and a social media frenzy ensues as Jeff and Rayling ask their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/burgerrevolution\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Facebook fans<\/a> to name their new creation. The foundation of a Burger Rev burger is a testament to this, starting with the homemade pretzel bun, <a href=\"http:\/\/enrightcattlecompany.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Enright Cattle Company <\/a>beef patty, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wiltoncheese.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Wilton Cheese<\/a> (which you\u2019ll find just outside Napanee). \u201cWe met Kara (Enright) after she came in . . .\u00a0 one day. She was just getting into the business and wanted us to taste her product. We knew we couldn\u2019t deny it: They treat their cows right, and you can taste it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When it comes to Trade Craft, sandwich meats are also sourced from Enright (Don\u2019t miss the pastrami when you make the trip!) and are cured and smoked in-house. In a word, or two, flavor and tastiness. For his cheeseburgers, Jeff will be using <a href=\"http:\/\/enrightcattlecompany.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Enright Cattle Co<\/a>. beef, award-winning Raclette cheese made by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kaisercheese.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fromagerie Fritz Kaiser<\/a>, kaiser buns by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stonemillbakehouse.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Stonemill Bakehouse<\/a>, and condiments made in-house. Also on the menu, appetizers provided by <a href=\"http:\/\/cheesefestival.ca\/the-festival\/artisanal-food\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">artisan food exhibitors<\/a> in the Cheese Festival, superb sausage by <a href=\"http:\/\/seedtosausage.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Seed to Sausage<\/a>, several sides created by <a href=\"http:\/\/chefmichaelhoy.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Chef Michael Hoy<\/a>, and incredible desserts made by <a href=\"http:\/\/pastryhouse.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pastry Master Peter Grendel.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Oh yes, <a href=\"http:\/\/vineland.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vineland Estates Winery<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/beaus.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Beau&#8217;s All Natural Brewing<\/a> at the cash bar.<\/p>\n<p>The fifth anniversary of <a href=\"http:\/\/cheesefestival.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Great Canadian Cheese Festival\u2014<\/a>the biggest artisan cheese show in Canada\u2014takes place Saturday and Sunday, June 6 and 7, in Picton, Ontario, at the Fairgrounds.
