{"id":2474,"date":"2011-05-06T19:30:41","date_gmt":"2011-05-06T23:30:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cheeseloverca.wordpress.com\/?p=2474"},"modified":"2011-05-06T19:30:41","modified_gmt":"2011-05-06T23:30:41","slug":"shameless-plug-for-the-great-canadian-cheese-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cheeselover.ca\/index.php\/2011\/05\/06\/shameless-plug-for-the-great-canadian-cheese-festival\/","title":{"rendered":"Shameless plug for The Great Canadian Cheese Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[youtube http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=dprAAANakk8&amp;w=480&amp;h=303]<\/p>\n<p>The video was shot during a media event\u00a0at Fifth Town Artisan Cheese for the upcoming Great Canadian Cheese Festival by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.croweproductions.ca\/\">Crowe Productions<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As you can see in the clip, it was a mighty breezy day in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tastetrail.ca\/\">Prince Edward County<\/a> which did not deter representatives of Quinte region media outlets from sampling artisan cheeses from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fromageriedupresbytere.com\/\">Fromagerie du Presbytere<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blackrivercheese.com\/\">110-year-old Black River Cheese<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fifthtown.ca\/\">Fifth Town Artisan Cheese<\/a>, wine from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.harwoodestatevineyards.com\/\">Harwood Estates Vineyards &amp; Winery<\/a>, beer from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.barleydaysbrewery.com\/\">Barley Days Brewery<\/a> and an amazing dish prepared by Chef Andreas Feller of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blumengardenbistro.com\/\">Blumen Garden Bistro<\/a> using Fifth Town cheese.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/countylive.ca\/blog\/?p=7416\">Mayor Peter Mertens<\/a> of Prince Edward County welcomed the Festival to the County.
