The winners in the Canadian Cheese Grand Prix will be announced at a Gala of Champions in Toronto this evening.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I\u2019m aiming to provide <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/#!\/CheeseLoverG\">a live news feed on Twitter<\/a> starting soon after six o\u2019clock and continuing until the Grand Champion is named.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left:30px;\">The reason there\u2019s so much excitement around here about the Grand Prix is that the winners will presented at <a href=\"http:\/\/cheesefestival.ca\/index.html\">The Great Canadian Cheese Festival<\/a> upcoming on June 4-5. It will be the first opportunity for cheese lovers to taste the winning cheeses in one place at one time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left:30px;\">During the <a href=\"http:\/\/cheesefestival.ca\/fair_market.html\">Artisan Cheese &amp; Fine Food Fair<\/a> on Festival Sunday (June 5), Deborah Levy of Dairy Farmers of Canada will lead a tutored tasting of the winners. They\u2019ll also be featured the <a href=\"http:\/\/cheesefestival.ca\/gala.html\">Cooks &amp; Curds Cheese Gala<\/a> on Festival Saturday (June 4).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cheeseloverca.wordpress.com\/2011\/02\/23\/canadian-cheese-grand-prix-finalists-announced\/\">Click here for a look at the cheeses in the competition<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dairyfarmers.ca\/what-we-do\/programs\/canadian-cheese-grand-prix\">organized and sponsored by Dairy Famers of Canada<\/a>.
